Next, we head to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, where we’ll see the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower.

In the late afternoon, we’ll continue to Fes, with a possible stop in Meknes to view Bab Mansour, a 17th-century gateway known as the “Moroccan Versailles,” before arriving in Fes and checking into the hotel.

Day 2 Fes » Azrou » Midelt » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Sahara Desert [469 km]

After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and head towards Ifrane, known as the Moroccan “Swiss-style” town. We’ll continue to Azrou, stopping at the cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you can see Barbary apes. After lunch in Midelt, we’ll drive to Merzouga, with a stop to admire the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. Upon arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon, you’ll begin a camel trek to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes.

You’ll spend the night at our desert camp, enjoying dinner, music, and songs performed by the Berber people. The camp is fully equipped for a comfortable stay.
